10 Tips to Improve Your Evangelism Skills

1. People need to hear and see that you have a real spiritual experience to share. Christ in you is the best example. Walk your talk.

2 Memorize and apply the Bible daily. When you are talking to someone, the Holy Spirit will bring to mind the verses you have learned at the time you need it most.

3. Know what you believe 100% doctrinally. Study and keep learning.

4. Share your personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. Explain how you realized you were a sinner and turned to trust in Jesus death & resurrection to make you alive spiritually.

5. Always state that the Bible is relevant. It never goes out-of-date. It speaks to all facets of life - it always has and always will.

6. When the Holy Spirit gives the opportunity to witness, learn to act on it right away. Don’t wait or you can be sure that Satan will try and talk you out of it.

7. Be prayed up - spend quality time in prayer.

8. Learn to be bold and risk speaking to someone about Christ.

9. Be yourself ! When you are genuine, others will know it.

10. Smile. Be friendly and interested in the lives of those around you. Opportunities to share your faith will arise through friendships made.

“Ask the Lord to make you genuinely interested in others instead of so occupied with yourself. Ask Him to enable you to take the risk and reach out. Ask Him to be winsome through you. “
